Hey y'all I can not believe I'm going to publicly ask this but.... we did not pay attention when taking the cables off the battery awhile back and I hate to make a costly mistake but would someone please post a pic of an 06 189 sport with the 150 optimax battery configuration?here is a pic and I'm guessing the red is positive of course but I'm curious about the black with 2 wires and red band?

jeff, Interestingly enough, it is only electronic situations that folks should be taken pictures of when disassembling things. It is everything you work on if you don't have absolute knowledge of where everything goes. For the record, you talked about black wires with a red band on them. The red band is actually the crimp connected that was used. Difference colors depict wire gauge size. So depending on the wire gauge, it could be a lot of different colors. But the wire itself USUALLY depicts the positive or negative polarity of the circuit. Where red is USUALLY positive and black is USUALLY negative. Hope that helps a little. JMHO!
