hello all!
im new to the forum and have a question that i cant find an answer for. i am looking to buy a 14' mirrocraft that is currently registered in wisconsin. the boat is beautiful and has been completely restored. looks to be a 60's model. i live in louisiana and called WL & F to ask them what i needed to title the boat. on the current registration it says year: unknown and under HIN: unknown. WL & F says that they can not guess on a year for the boat and that i would have to provide some sort of proof of the year. does anyone know how to do this? the current owner has tried to find out before through mirrocraft and he said all they did was send him a sales brochure. WL & F said not having the HIN was not a problem because i could have it inspected and everything would be fine but no year was unacceptable. someone please help! It has a number stamped on the left side of the transom. the number is e24-1044-58s . ive contacted mirrocraft myself and im waiting for a reply.
