Here's my contribution. I just picked up this sweet ride this weekend. It was worth the five hour drive. It looks to be all original, including the paint, interior and top. Both the boat and trailer are 1978 and the motor is a 1976 Mercury 650, 65hp. The trailer is a Holsclaw model and it tows very good. I was impressed. The guy that had it, kept it stored in his shed. It's dusty but in very pristine condition.

I'm taking lots of pictures in case I do forget. lol. I'm hoping to have it put back together by winter, hoping. Another weeking of grinding out the stringers and transom then I can get back at reconstruction.

And here we are two years later. Different motor, now an 85hp Mercury outboard that I had painted and installed new decals. Boat is put back together and has been floated. I'm still tuning on the motor and will hopefully work out all the kinks by years end.

It's started. The daytime isn't too bad, usually between mid 60's to mid 70's. But the nights are dropping to the 50's. The sun is getting lower in the sky and it gets dark now around 830. I'm hoping to keep boating until mid October. We will see.
