Hi everyone, new to the forum. I recently returned home and found out that my parents (after 25 years) still have my MFG boat. I've decided to begin a slow, but steady restoration of the boat so that my kids can hopefully enjoy it as much as I did growing up. Here's the fun part, the summer of 1993 I sunk this boat in the James River being a foolish teenager doing dumb things in a boat. Managed to get the boat bailed out, back on the trailer and dragged it home where I yanked the plugs and pulled on the motor until water stopped coming out. Filled the cylinders with oil, cycled the engine a few more times before putting the plugs back in then pretty much left home for college.

Here's exactly where I parked it all those years ago. My son plays in it and apparently that's how the wheelbarrow ended up in it.
