would love to see a picture. i have a 15 foot saratoga with a 35 hp and it pushes the boat pretty good. however my saratoga weighs around 440 lb. sounds like you might need a little more hp.

I have a 69 cruiseliner with a 100 on it. You may be at 1400lbs. for the empty hull but when on the water with friends and gear 2500 to 3000lbs. may be more realistic. The 25 will move the boat but with any kind of head wind you may be at the mercy of where ever the wind wants the boat to go. My boat was original with twin Chryslers and my planned repower is twin 70 or 80s. I would rather be a little over powered than 2 miles from the nearest cove when a wind blows in.
