Re: Lone Star Runabout

My uncle bought one new around that time, not sure maybe it was a 1963', it was a fiberglass 16' Lone Star Triton with a 40hp Johnson, we test drove it in the Great South Bay on Long Island. It was a darn good boat, nice looking, and riding, fairly fast for it's size, & type. He took it to Saranac lake NY, and kept it there, eventually it went to Florida, and they put a new 60hp Johnson on it. He had many good years with it.

Evinrude15 they already have a forum for lone Star on this site. If you would like to post in that forum or you can post in the Boating topics and Questions (not engine topics) forum if you have specific question about that boat or if you have a restoration question post here http://forums.iboats.com/forumdisplay.php?f=22

If you would like to post in the Lonestar forum post at this link below. Note that these individual forums are not used as much and some are verily new and haven't had much traffic.
