Water skiing

I have a Javelin fish and ski with a 90hp. When I take the kids skiing or tubing I have to attach the rope on the transom. This is very low and makes it difficult to get a skier out of the water and the rope is often in the water when towing a tube. Does anyone know if the rear deck seat post is strong enough to support a water skiing post? If it is does anyone know where in North East, Ma I can find one a ski past that would fit into the seat post hole?

Re: Water skiing

The seat post is not strong enough to safely pull a skier. We use an Airhead Heavy Duty towing harness on our Javelin that connects to the two transon tie-down hooks. Works great for tubing/okay for skiing, but it it safe. Good luck.
