Any trick in removing an SSV170 steering wheel?

Guys,

I received a new steering wheel (UFlex - white w/ silver spokes) for my 1994 Glastron SSV170 outboard. The original steering system was replaced by the previous owner with a SeaStar unit. It uses the original Glastron wheel. Before I rip into it, I thought I'd ask for advice. Does the wheel cover simply pull off?

Can you put a pic, Jeff. The wheel may not be Glastron specific, possibly the center section is only Glastron logoed.

It might be a while before I can post a pic, as my boat is in winter storage approx. three hours from where I live. Thanks for the response. I'll post when I'm able to be near the boat.
