I've been thinking of buying a boat for a while and think I might have found one.
The boat is a 17 ft 1978 Glassmaster Patriot bow rider, with a 115hp. I took a good look at the boat yesterday and noticed some dings on the hull, which i'm sure are normal; however, the bottom edge of the stern, under the transom, looks like its had some repairs and is cracked. The guy is asking 3900 for it. The power head was replaced last year, and still has 10 hrs left on the break in period. The upholstery and chairs are all new. The price also includes a 2003 sea lion drive on trailer, fish finder, and trollin motor.
Took some pictures. You'll see the cracks and dings I'm concerned about. Looked at the transom, it looks a bit weak. I lifted the motor up and down and the transom gave just a bit. The floor is soft in a couple of spots, but feels strong I guess.
