pressure plate problem?

2006 four winns 348, 6.0 crusader eng. V-drive, hurth transmission. between 1100 & 1800 rpm the starboard eng/trans sounds like marbles in a tin can shaking. was told that the problem is with the pressure plate springs making that noise. tech. say's that there is an up-dated plate with the springs packed in silicone. It is a crusader problem. crusader does not say to much. any info out there. any one else have this problem.

Sounds like water pump impeller or mechanical fuel pump (running out of gas). Buy stethoscope and listen to your engine to pinpoint where the rattling is coming from.
