I'm looking at a used 1996 Horizon 19' Outboard boat with a 130HP Evinrude. I know that somewhere around this time they went with composite and fiberglass. I found a brochure online and it says 4W boats have fiberglass or fiberglass encapsulated stringers (which means wood). The boat seems to be in very good shape but its something I would need to really check out.
