HELP boat alarm on with and boat in safe mode

we had the our boat out a week ago and the impeller went out so we replaced the impeller and clean all the hose and ran it for a 15min with no alarms.

we went out on sunday and the boat had an alarm go off and it went into safe mode.

the oil pressure is at 40 PSI, i check the oil and it is full

engin temp is at 135

i pulled the dip stick out of the drive top end and it is at midway thru the flat spot not quite sure if that is right or not.

can anyone help not sure what to do next?

Check the gear lube level for the lower unit. If its low will sound alarm. I don't know how your engine temp could only be at 135 after 15 min of run time. You sure the temp gauge working properly? I believe my gauge starts at 135. After 15 mins my thermostat is open and I am at constant 180. If your thermostat is not opening it will cause engine to overheat and sound alarm.

If your impeller went out out because you sucked in sand/debris. Some of the sand etc could have wedged in thermostat so won't open.
