Hello All,

I have 350 Chevy with a cast iron Bowtie manifold number 14096242. The carb is a 9776SB with a Weber casting on the side. (Carter AFB?)

Is this the best carb for this intake? I have seen some other forums stating that this intake is set up for a Holley or a Q-jet. I appreciate any knowledge/advice you would have to offer.

Thanks!

I have the same manifold on a 1990 Chevy 350 marinized by a Yamaha dealer. It has the Rochester Quadrajet 17080561 on it.

Fuel tank....I just flushed mine by siphoning out what I could.....15 gallons, with a lot of water at the end of the process. Used a suction to pull all the fuel out of the fuel line. Added 5 gallons of gas with some water remover in it, suctioned out through fuel line. Added another 5 gallons, and suctioned out....was good and clean. Note: If you use a clear vinyl hose, you can see any sediment/rust/etc...
