Need some help! Has anyone replaced the port fuel tank sending unit?1984 286 Avanti Vee. Two 125 gal. tanks. The port tank has a bad sending unit and it's located to the outside of the tank. There is not much room between the floor and the top of the tank.Will I have to cut an access hole or can it be removed in the space that's there?
I would appreciate any information on this.
The starboard tank guage is not accurate either. The sender on this tank is located on the inside closer to the engine. Think I can get this one out.
