Any info on old crestliner?

I recently bought a aluminum crestliner boat. I think it is a 1968 16' flying crest. The only id I can find on it is M8616 stamped on the starboard side of the stearn. Title says it's a 1967. Any info such as max hp rating and such would be appreciated.

I called Crestliner in MN today to ask about my 1969 model 18', and they were really very helpful. You might try calling their Customer Service line and get ext. 296, Dan.

I have also found Crestliner customer service very helpful. When I purchased the boat in my signature a few years back, they sent me the 1996 brochure that had great information about my boat. I might add that they did this quickly and for free. They also left it open to help me answer any future questions I may have about my boat.
Great company and a great boat.
