Hello I recently purchased a 1972 Chris craft commander salon 35 footer. The boat currently has two 4D battery's, both battery's are right at a year old. The boat does not have a functioning battery charger. I will need to purchase a new battery charger for the boat. Apparently battery chargers that work with 4D and 8D battery's do not work with other types of battery's and vice verse.
Are 4D battery's correct for my application. I plan on installing multiple TV's, Full surround sound system, Heat, Air conditioning as well as a few computers.
Should i keep the two 4D battery's that i have or switch to something different? How many banks should I have? I have two 427 motors and plan on installing a gen-set down the road. All input and information is very much appreciated.
