1984 chris craft scorpion 187. Is this really a model?

Just looking for someone who has knowledge of chris craft boats. I have a 84' chris craft scorpion 187 18'4". Closed bow, 305 mercruiser i/o. It has a 187 sticker on back. I have searched on the internet and do not come up with any results for a 187, do find 186. Did chris craft make a model 187. Thanks for the help.

i think our boats are the same boats please post a picture weve got the same engine. grew and chris craft bonded on during three years and your boat was one of those years still a very good boat the engine works like a charm i have been driving it since i was a baby and it was before my time that engine will last you forever please treat it well because its a beautiful peice of machinery.

Looks like the 187 was basically the closed bow version of the 18 foot scorpion as compared to the 186BR's which were all bow riders.
