I just bought a 18 ft Celebrity 180 (1992) w/ the small Mercuriser (130 hp I think). I'm coming from a similar size OB set up so IO's in general are new to me.
First Q: I am interested in optimizing for top end speed WRT prop size. What am I looking at for the max pitch this motor/hull combo can handle? These Celebrity's are nice, but wide and heavy. Since this subject is so hull-dependant I thought I would post here.
Second Q: I may consider an engine upgrade. I can handle the mechanics, but am not even sure what sizes might fit.
