Let's see some pics. & specs.

Here's mine
1989 Celebrity 27' Twin 4.3 Mercruiser I/Os
LOA 31'
top speed 34 mph
cruise 26-28 mph

(I'll put up better when I have a chance to compress some)

Do you have an owners manual and if so does it tell how to replace a water tank? We have a 1988 Celebrity 30' cruiser-it looks just like yours.

Re: Let's see your Celebrity

Hello Celebrity fans!

Here are some pics of my Celebrity boat. I am the original owner and after 15 years, I still get comments on how good and clean it looks. I purchased it new in 1997 after Bombardier had already bought the company and changed the look to the new euro-style with rounded off windshields that I did not like. The dealer happened to have this boat left over from the previous year at a substantial discount, and we have been in love with it ever since.

Hey just wanted to say a hello to the celebrity owners out there, have had my 1980 210V for about 3 years now, last year decided to redo the entire electrical system and redo the dash panels on it and will be putting it in the water on friday since a year and a half ago.

Hey mobilmedic,
I have an 83 210v with the cuddy with big swivel buckets and a bench seat in the back.
Do you have any pics of your engine cover and jump seats in the back and how they are attached??
Id like to redo the interior for more cockpit space and seating.
Thanks..

1992 Open Bow, I am told it is 21' long though I have not confirmed that part yet.

5.7L Mercruiser Alpha One

So far, 30ish mph is all I am getting but having some sputtering issues at 3600rpm

Interior was restored by prev owner, very nice shape!

Re: Let's see your Celebrity

Just picked her up this summer!

Was a one owner boat. 230 Bow Rider with a 454 7.5l Merc and a Bravo I stern drive.
It's a big boat for a first time owner, but I've been around boats all my life. (My dad always had one)

She has 730~ on the motor and runs really well, nice deep idle and really quick.

Looking to have some fun this summer and do some work to it this winter!

This is my 1989 Celebrity 181. "Gone A.W.O.L."Boat3.jpgBoat1.jpg

We have had it for a few years now. I tore the carpet out and am planning to do some repairs to the floor over the winter season. Unfortunately I went to put some stuff from our boat into storage with the boat and found a puddle of gasoline under it. I have no idea where it is coming from. Something to do while the floor is out I suppose.

Re: Let's see your Celebrity

I'm a couple years late in bumping this thread, and I apologize.

I'm about to pick up this 1991 Celebrity. I'm told it's 19' with a 5.7 merc. I've not seen it in person, my parents have been checking it out for me. Owner has told me he tried to crank it recently and it wouldn't catch, so he pulled a plug and water poured out. Obviously not a great sign, but I'm hoping I can work a little chemical magic on it and get it running on the cheap. If not, because of the price of this boat I have no problem rebuilding or getting a new longblock. Also he told me the floor is soft. Not sure if i'll go the cheap way on that or do it right from the get-go.

Anyways, anyone able to positively identify it? I'm fairly sure it's a 190, but from what I've read in research the 190 never came with a 5.7, just the 5.0 in 1991?

I'll be getting some more detailed pics today of the motor and outdrive which I'm told is an alpha one, but the price is well under $1000 for the boat and trailer, including SS prop, and the interior just looks mildewy, nothing I can't clean up a bit. Bow and cockpit covers are nearly new and the bimini is nearly new as well.

Re: Let's see your Celebrity

OK! I figured the owner was wrong, it is indeed a 5.0 merc, thunderbolt ignition. Can't seem to nail down the specs of the motor/hp rating.

Here are some pics of our 1999 Celebrity BR190, bought it last year, it is in real good shape. Hard to find info on these boats unfortunately. Has the 5.0L Merc, alpha one.

Re: Let's see your Celebrity

Well here is mine. I just bought this 1985 Celebrity cuddy with a 5.7 mercruiser. It is in original condition but still looks good. I need to restain the wood but it is still good. I have never owned a boat before and have wanted one for a long time. I loved the looks of this boat and got a good deal so here she is. Any advice or tips is most welcome.

Looks good! Might need a coat of wax. I'm using Woody Wax restoration wax right now, which I'll follow with some meguiars marine carnauba wax. I'll post a couple pics of my 1991 190 5.0 soon.

it's a project, haha.
