ok,
recently bought a celebrity boat, 2001, 24 ft cuddy.
it is a pump out portie pottie, goes to a waste tank...
is there a way in these boats that i can pump it over the side or do i have to have the waste sucked out at a marina?

Not a pro here, but really should have it pumped out..
Only legal way I know if to discharge overboard, is if you're in some rivers, bays etc.. or at least 3 miles offshore in the ocean, and then you need Type I or Type II MSD in those areas...

Inland lakes etc.. 99.9% of the time, it's illegal to dump waste...

Here's a link to info on it..

Only if you are in the ocean. Way out off shore.

But if you want to pump it over the side, go swimming afterwards and try one of the Clark bars.

Yes, go 3+ miles out away from shore in the ocean and pump away. You are best to have it pumped out. I usually do the pump out when I get gasoline.

Kind of like eating dinner while sitting on the toilet :D
