I have a 93 280 Sedan, which I think is pretty much the same boat.
If you mean the water pump for the inside plumbing like the galley and head sinks, ours is located on the port side just in front of the hot water take in the engine compartment. Its screwed to the floor under a platform we use to store stuff. The platform was made by the previous owner, so your boat may be different,
