Digital Tachometer

Starboard digital tachometer works sometimes. My sync gauge pegs to the port side. Is there a relationship between the performance of my sync guage and the tachometer?

Does the behavior of my gauges effect the performance of my Volvo D12's?

The sync works off of the same signals as the tach's do. Doubt your problem is the gauge, probably the signal from the STBD engine.
