I have a 2002 Carver Mariner. The other day I was running the engines when the port engines just shut down. I was at about 1,100 RPM and it just shut down. The tachometer still shows 1,000 RPM and the engine will not start. It does not crank and I don't hear the "chime" when I turn the key. Matter of fact, nothing happens when I turn the key.

To me it sounds like a blown fuse/circuit breaker or something like that. How can I check to see what the problem is? Where can I find the fuse/circuit breaker?

Any help is appreciated.

Re: Engine Won't Start

Check the circuit breaker near the ignition key, there also are circuit breakers near the ECM wich are mounted somewhere on top of the engine. Also check the main wiring harness connection, I had the same issue and that was the problem.

Good luck.
