My Carver 390 CPMY has two 30 Amp Circuit Breakers (Shore Power 1 for boat shore power and Shore Power 2 for air conditioning). Shore Power 1 breaker is locked in the off position. The breaker is made by Carling Switch - stock number DG3-X0-01-246-131-C. It is a three pole breaker, centre pole has an on/off rocker switch. Poles 2 and 3 are connected on the outside by what appears to be a small cylindrical electronic component (I believe this may be a polarity function)
Carver Boat Corporation has no "technical fix".
Carling Switch tells me the breaker was made only for Carver, is obsolete and no longer stocked. Two days on the web looking for the part yielded nothing.
Has anyone had this same problem and can they suggest a fix?
