bluefin history

Im trying to find out about a boat I bought, It's a Blue fin sportsman 1900 aluminum fish&ski a 87 model. I would like to know a little about them , are they still made, and if not . who makes them now. thanks bill

Blue Fin is long gone. Since the early 90s I think.

BlueFin was bought up by Brunswick. I am not sure of the timeframe. I have contacted Brunswick to try to get some capacity information for my boat, but they seem to have very limited information. It seems that much of the company documentation has been lost.

There is a BlueFin boat still being made, but it is in Australia (I think), and I don't believe that it has any connection to the company that made our line of boats.

I am not an expert, but what I have noticed is that BlueFins seem to be easy to work on and are pretty good boats for their size. Not speed demons, but no slouch either. They are made very similar to like-sized Starcrafts of the same vintage.
