Greetings!

I just became the owner of a 1990 Ciera 2755 and found that both batteries are dead. I've been reading on the Forum the benefits of a starting and deep cycle battery. Do I need one of each on my two-battery system or will two deep cycle batteries be okay? The previous owner used two deep-cycle 27DC batteries.

Thanks!

Re: Bayliner Batteries

A large deep cycle battery will usually have enough cranking amps to start a motor, but it depends on what motor you have. I'm guessing a single 5.0L or 5.7L.
