Hello, all --
Does anyone know how to remove the rear seat pads on a '85 Capri?
I have a new-to-me 1985 Bayliner Capri 1600 BR that I'm making a few minor updates to. The interior is in decent shape, but the seats are pretty well stained. Cleaning hasn't been successful, so I've opted to spray them with a coat of Duplicolor's Fabric & Vinyl paint. So far, so good. The problem is that I can't figure out how to remove the rear seat pads that are up against the stern. There's doesn't appear to be any access from behind, there's no hidden bolts that I can see if I peel back the corner of the seat a little, there's no seam where screws could be hiding, and lifting up doesn't reveal any hidden mounts. Are these epoxied in place?
Worst case, I'll just mask off the rest of the boat and paint them in place, but I'd really rather not do that.
