Hi I'm the newbie with the 2355 1999 bayliner Cierra. I am looking to install a trolling motor, for one reason just as a backup, and also to troll for landlocked striped bass on raystown lake in central pa. I need to know if anyone knows of anywhere I can buy one used? I talked to a minn kota rep and I'm looking at 2500 for a 72 inch shaft to 84 inch shaft...plus the one the recommend requires 3 more batteries? no clue where I would put them. I have a minn kota now that pulled around our 2k pound pontoon boat effortlessly----could I mount it on the swim platform? would it push it? Well any advice, or ANYONE with a used 84 inch shaft trolling motor for sale greatly appreciated....... Even thought about the electric motors that bolt to the lower unit--but was told they are more hassle than they are worth?
