Do I need to take the boat off the trailer to replace stringers and floor? My trailer is custom fit for the boat unlike alot of trailers they don't fit the boat! Mine is supported from front to back so I think I can leave it on the trailer! Any comments would be appreciated! I also want to know how to get my measurement for the height of my stringers starting with the center one? I didn't know if I should go by where the old line was in the back of the boat or lay a board across tge boat from side to side and measure up from the bottom of floor to bottom of board or go by the old line in back but if I did that the floor sits a couple inches lower than the sides which means my floor will slope toward the center! Someone told me to go by the old marks where the previous wood was but it doesn't seem right for the floor to slope cause then you seats wont sit level I don't think anyway your input would b helpful thanks!

The hull should be cored which pretty much makes it hold it's shape.

I wouldn't worry about it.

As for measuring- you need to decide on were the floor goes and measure down.

I'm not following you on the sloping floor part?
