Thank you M.S. I used 2" blue stryro foam for the floatation under the deck. I saved the other foam that goes in the seat benches. Where did You find a source for the t nuts? The dash has a spot for a speedometer, which I have and I'm not sure what the other gauge is for, possibly a tach? For your dash you could try to cover uo the holes with a piece of thin wood laminate.

I enjoyed the Queen Merrie project and it kept me busy throughout the spring. However, having two boats I had to make a decision which one to keep. I kept the Alumacraft FD witch is a smaller 14 footer. I mostly fish and I like the simplicity of the FD. The QM was a great boat, and I'm glad I had a chance to be part of its history. I believe it went to a good home, and the new owner said "this will be the last boat I'll ever own." I believe that to be true!
