Just wanted to introduce myself. New to the forum. I love old vintage boats. I had been wanting one for up at my cabin. Have had some classic glass in the past but it seems Id always find some rot. So i decided to go all aluminum. I just found this baby. I think its a 58. Has a 66 35 mercury. Bought from original owner. Always stored in side. Basically mint condition. Im pretty excited for next spring. Been a few years since i had an old runabout to mess with.

Very nice boat, congrats! I'm also in Milwaukee. This reminds me of a boat some family friends had in their garage in Ashland...Anyway thanks for the photos, and enjoy it come Spring!

Nice Model C. How are those seats attached to the benches? I have not seen that set up?

Very nice!

I love the 1950's Alumacraft boats and have 3. A 1951 model R, a 1956FD and a 1956 Cruiseabout.

The reason I asked on the seats is because they should be sealed air tight boxes used as your main flotation. Rivets may work just as well. Thank you for the response.

I'm also thinking about getting a 59' Deep C too. I have a lead on one but the asking price seems really high and I would really like to find the "Open C" model. So, how is that forward deck fastened to the hull and would it be easy to take that part off with out damaging anything and then put it back on later if need be?

Coolness! She looks to be complete and intact too.

Well that Deep C is now new to me. I plan on picking it up Labor Day weekend. I have already purchased a period correct 1959 Mercury Mark 58A that has been fully restored to put on the back. Have not decided what I am going to do with the interior of the boat, I don't want to remove anything stock but I defiantly want to make the ride a bit more comfortable and stylish.
