Hello All,

My name is Ken Phillips and i have a 1961 Queen Merrie. I got this boat from my wifes Grand Parents and they bought it new. It was purchased for for reutine transportation in upstate New York on the Beaver River Dam area.

I have owned the boat since 1998. When my children were young we used it nearly every weekend we could. Then they starting to grow and it went into storage. I pulled it out of storage about 5 years ago and parked it in my back yard. I have had plans to rebuild it for quite awhile and now have the time.

I am new to this sort of thing and thought that if I posted some pics regularly you good folks might not mind me asking questions when I get stuck (which could be often). Anyway, here are a couple of pics of the beginning and I hope to be able to have pics in the water before i get to old to enjoy it.

Thanks to anyone and everyone in advance for youy time and energy on my behalf.
