My brother has mid 80's 27ft Sea Ray weekender with a single mercruiser 350i/o, He's had it since the late 80's. The family would take it to lake Erie, Fla and boat the Ohio River too. This boat barely goes fast enuff to pull skier. When my niece and nephew were young, they named the boat without realizing it at the time. On one of my brothers birthday, his wife had a pinstriper/sign guy show up & put the name on the boat.

Let us know if your inspections by the authorities increase after adding your graphics.

Wouldn't bother me a bit. I won't have more than 1 every other hour when out on the boat, I've got more than the required safety equipment, carry a DSC equipped VHF and file a float plan. I'll gladly point out that stopping me is a bit of a waste compared to the rest of the morons terrorizing the waterways out here.

I think my latest boat's name is "No Bad Days". If not officially then I am using it as nickname for now...

How bout some ideas on how y'all came up with the names? Been trying to think of one for mine and I haven't had anything that just jumps it at me.

I bought our boat and the wife (the Admiral) says we can?t take her out until we came up with a name for it. So our 33 year old Galaxy Conquest is named ?Keeping It Reel?. But after finding a few floor/ stringer issues should of named it ?The Money Pit?

We are just starting to renovate our boat and trying to figure out a name for it. Seems that the one that keeps coming back is "Grasshoppa"

Up here in the Great White North, we catch mostly Walleye. I thought a name up here that would fit would be
"Just Pick-Her Al'...feel free to use it if not already used.

I'm calling my boat Went Overboard. I work at an upholstery shop and build custom cars and boats, most off what I do I go overboard on. The boat's getting a new engine, custom interior, all new electronics and detailed like crazy. It's a 90 Four Winns 195 so as a boat nothing special. Here's the engine to give you and idea of where I'm headed.

My boats called Tommy Ruff named after a fish we used to catch in South Australia as kids we used to called them shittys, there a herring , I wanted to call it The Troublesome Trollop but that may have been tempting fate being powered by a Chrysler lol
