I have had my old jon boat up on my local CL for a week, no bites. Am i ahead of the NE boat rush? I know by this time of year i've already got my craigslist boat browsing WELL underway , but I'm a fanatic. As having used craigslist before, this is unusual in my area. Normally I'd be getting 10 calls a week and 2-3 being serious potential buyers. Maybe jon boats aren't very hot?

Or you are asking too much. However CL is hit or miss. You do need pics in the ad

As Scott said, either asking to much, or nobody is looking for a boat like you are selling right now, pretty common, remember, tax season, just ended last week, so you never know why, just leave it on there and keep hoping.

Though it's not mentioning boats per se but I recently saw where starting on April 15th craigslist will start charging $5 to post a vehicle for sale. https://www.craigslist.org/about/help/posting_fees

Some are saying Facebook Marketplace is one of the latest hot spots for buying/selling vs using craigslist anymore...Offer Up is still going strong though it seems.

iboats has a boat marketplace too you know.:)
