Yeah. I wouldn't waste money on Office. Most people don't need it at all. Libre Office will do just about everything you'll ever need to do (for home use) for zero dollars. http://www.libreoffice.org/ (I put that on my wifes MAC too!)

I agree 85% with LibreOffice. The exception if you have spreadsheets what use VBA in them. They are not compatible with Libre/Open Office.

True statement........

However, it's doubtful a lot of home users would be using macros in Calc anyway. If they're doing it at "work", "work" is providing a license for home use of MS Office for free....

But there are alternatives..... http://www.debugpoint.com/category/programming/libreoffice/

by "tickled" I take that to mean you accidentally clicked on "DATE" above the actual date in an email in the inbox list.

That is a "toggle switch" Click it once and emails will be oldest first. Click it again and they'll be newest first. Standard "thing" in all email clients.......

I tickled something. I know the date header usually just reverses the date order of display. But it was some other order as the first email dates showed Oct 27 and appeared (did not look that closely) to descend from there. Those Oct 27 dates continued to show there thru three days of new mail being downloaded. It must have been some other order catagory that I inadavertantly 'tickled.
