Had my neck fused....now miserable and even more bitter and jaded, but that will pass.

Before surgery doc said I would have some discomfort. This was possibly the understatement of the year@

Yousa! Slipped some discs and had them removed?

I have a couple discs pushing against my spinal cord in my neck...... Didn't get surgery, yet. All the specialists recommended not to get surgery and to hold off as long as possible. So far so good... Ask for better drugs, or more........ I feel for ya.....

Yep pinched nerves. Was just pain for last 3 - 4 years but now I was losing a considerable amount of strength. Had to do something. This was last resort but I was out of options.

My surgeon said most people wait until they're begging for surgery. So I should have a ways to go, hopefully. Concentrate on the light at the end of the tunnel, it will get closer with each passing day...... Good luck!

I despise leaks! It once took me 5 trips to Traverse City and $350 to fix a leaky drain in the kitchen sink. That's when I decided I was a professional mechanic and I should hire a professional plumber to do that kind of stuff

Took a couple of grandkids to Fourth of July Lake for a little bank fishing. My granddaughter and I had some nibbles but couldn't hook anything. The grandson caught a nice fat rainbow trout (18") so he came home all happy.

Well not today, but opening morning at 7:45, random spot, no baiting for me but got a nice 8 pointer! Getting a shoulder mount done. Yeah, been hunting for quite a few years, my biggest yet as far as bucks, but then again I don't shoot if there is a chance I won't get a good shot. Passed on a nice 10 pointer a few years back, some would have unloaded 2 clips just to get him........

I'm a transplant from Mn. There it's never been legal to bait. So I was surprised when I moved to WI that you could bait. I've lived here 18yrs now and refuse. To me, putting a pile of corn in front of you and wait for the deer to show up is not hunting. One year baiting wasn't allowed. A lot of hunters complained and didn't hunt. Good! More deer for me. Sad thing is, the local feed stores depend on deer corn sales to get them thru the year. To me, that's not a very good business plan. Ok, off my soapbox....Lol

Will make a nice wall hanger, Grub. I shot a nice 8pt in Mn in '99 that's on my wall...... Very similar to yours..... What was the spread?

Put Christmas lites on the house. Checked them all before I hung them. Of course, 1 string in the middle didn't work. I could tell it was an older string. Glad I bought a few extra boxes last year. So, out with old and in with the new..... Still need to do 3 trees that line the drive.....

It scored 120 and is a 10 inch spread. Not real spectacular, but a nice symmetrical rack. Thanks!

Measured at the front 2 long tines. I failed to measure the greatest spread, but I'm just going off the measurement/score the taxidermist told me. The rear tines were 16"

I see. I always measured the greatest distance between the inside of the main beams. Sometimes the tips can almost touch.

Here's 10pt(ok, legally a 9) I shot when I was 16. Couldn't afford a shoulder mount. Heck, could barely afford gas...Lol It's a heavy rack/beams. The G2s(back tines) are 9" long, but only 4.5" apart. The main beam tips are 7". The rack went up instead of out. Dad thought it was ugly, I thought it was awesome. I think he was really telling me, "don't look to me to get it mounted"...Lol So I mounted just the rack myself........

That is a nice rack, especially for a 16 year old. I didn't get my first buck till I was around 30ish....4 pointer. This is only my 2nd buck, now 59.....lol But I have got a lot of does over time. I'm not a super big hunter like some, I love to get out there and see what happens. heck, the water isn't even hard up here yet, Maby I should be boating............
