Not having an easy time trying to find parts for my small 98 merc 4-5 hp outboard. The serial # 0G574698. Is the old site version available still?

Are you looking for aftermarket or OEM parts? The OEM parts finder on the new website seems to work okay (they're still building the aftermarket parts finder).

Did you try this: https://www.iboats.com/shop/oemparts

Also, if you wouldn't mind, let me know about your experience using the OEM parts finder and any issues with it.

I don't think it's online. iboats_help

Let's see if Customer Service can help you out. You can also call (800) 914-1123.

EDIT: Looks like the gang's all here :)

Ok checked up top the old site is more my type for sure. Issue is my outboard is listed as 4-5 as most parts interchange. Found most of what I'm looking for, but the head gasket. Looks like they skipped that part on the listing. Guess it wouldn't hurt to call in the am.

Oem would be nice but the only way I'm able to locate 4hp parts is by searching for 5hp. They're always on the same page no matter the site. Anyhoo. The new parts finder doesn't workfor me as my model# isn't one found
thanks!

Your serial number 0G574698 is showing up as an 1998 & Newer MARINER TMC NA 2.5-HP (MH) under parts manual catalog titled MARINER : 2.5/3 HP(NON-SHIFT) which is Merc part number 90-815127 - PARTS MANUAL 2.5/.
Model Number 7002201GK.

Just to reconfirm; are you saying you have a 4-HP engine, a 4.5-HP, engine, 4/5-HP engine or a 5-HP engine model?

In thinking you meant 4/5 HP which you would need to use parts catalog part number 90-815128 PARTS MANUAL covers 4/5 Hp / S/N# 0A855097 THRU 0G710612 Found in the following link through iboats http://ww2.iboats.com/MERCURY-4-HP-...876228--session_id.584435695--view_id.1701285
