Yeah, overly intrusive government.
It's not likely I'll get any help from the Fed's when local government is overly intrusive.

Here in Nueces county Texas,if your vehicle registration renewal notice expires and you bring the renewal notification with you to the motor vehicle division of the county tax accessors office ,you then simply just sign an affidavit stating that you have not been using the vehicle since it expired.That and proof of insurance.They certainly don't just withdraw monies to cover the cost of a renewal whether you contact them or not.The traffic cops watch out for expired registrations.But,who knows what the future holds.
