How many members are regular posters?

I was just browsing the member list and was surprised to see that probably 90% of the members only made less than 10 posts. A vast majority list 0, 1 or 2 posts.

I'm wondering if its the same 40 or 50 members who use these forums on a regular basis?

My average posts 160/year over almost 4 years...

JB's average posts 4484/year over 6 years.

All seriousness aside...in my observations, I think the vast majority of members come in for one-time technical help with a problem & it is solved in relatively few posts. The big-number posters are those with the most technical help to offer, or the most strongly opinionated (down here in the cellar anyways) and those are comparatively few.

Sometimes I wonder if there are about ten members with multiple handles? When you check out some of the Syntax of a few of the posters, you will be surprised at the similarity. That is something that if you try changing it is very hard to keep at it. In other words you will eventually slip up, and some of us will be watching.

I'm proudly on page 2, in order of post count. I probably don't help out much, and I dont think I am overly opinionated........ so I'm not sure I fit stevieray's observation. LOL

I've Never Ever even Clicked that Member List button before,.......

I just found out that a guy was here a few months before Me, posted 4 times, fixed his Volvo,+ Hasn't been back..........
That's why I had to add the Dash to My name......
