This is a first for Humpty, so he hopes the link works tonight. You won't recognize any of the names, but names are made here. :thumb:

News and Notes - Nascar

• All racing is canceled through May 3rd at Dover.
• Plans are for racing to return at Martinsville.
• Nascar plans to have all 36 races and still have the playoffs begin on time.
• To have the regular season finish before the 1st playoff race at Darlington, on September 6th, tracks with 2 dates before Darlington may do doubleheaders and tracks with a single date may have mid-week races. A whole lot of "mays" as they are still working a schedule, They want to avoid doubleheaders if they can.
• All testing is shut down except for NextGen testing. They don't want to delay the NextGen car debut at Daytona Speed Week.
• Nascar is working with FOX and NBC on a broadcast schedule.
• One of the schedule issues is NBC and Olympics. Olympics are up in the air too.
• Some races may run with no fans in attendance.
• To run the complete schedule, the season may go into December. Great, we may be watching a race on Christmas.
• The only thing above not written in disappearing ink is no racing before Martinsville and that's a guess right now.

Sunday will have an iRace in the Pro series with some Cup drivers;

NASCAR and iRacing announced today the formation of the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series, an exhibition esports series featuring many of the sports most talented and popular drivers. The simulation-style showcase will include a cross-section of competitors from the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series and a group of NASCAR dignitaries.

The multi-week series will kick off Sunday, March 22 at 1:30 p.m. ET on the virtual Homestead-Miami Speedway. The remaining race and broadcast details will be announced at a later date.

The exhibition series will feature some of the best NASCAR drivers including:

• Dale Earnhardt Jr.
• Kyle Busch
• Denny Hamlin
• Clint Bowyer
• Kyle Larson
• Christopher Bell
