A happy holiday to you all. I am glad it's over to tell you the truth. Well I thought it was over but we have a sack full of stuff to get to all the grand nieces and nephews now. Grrrrrr Humbug.

We spend yesterday at my brothers and his wife and her family and friends that are ex pats from Great Britain. That was an education. 12 adults sitting at the dinner table and you didn't have to yell to talk to the guest sitting next to you. Nothing like our Italian Family get togethers. The dinner was excellent but these reserved Brits got like giddy children when the 5 different deserts were served. "Christmas pud" is my new favorite desert. They dole it out like it's Cocaine. It has a recipe passed down through many generations. Some of this years is saved as a base for next years, either that or they were playing with me. Several nuts, fruits, bread, honey and Rum and something called sewet whatever that is. It is served with Rum butter and English cream. All I know is it is good. Now I know what is meant in the Pink Floyd song, "You doni get yar puddin' till ya eat all yar meat."
