With 100 laps to go, Hamlin has led since the 3rd heat green flag. He has 1.5 seconds over Harvick.

Now Larson spins in the middle of the pack on the restart. Back to yellow.

Hamlin is still 1st.

Larson hits the wall for another caution - 37 lap to go. Harvick stayed out for the lead.

This may turn into a fuel race for Harvick, as well as Jones and Truex who stayed out with him. Jones did a fake on pitting and dove back to the track an the last second.

15 to go and Harvick up .6 sec. over Hamlin. Does he have the gas in the tank?

Final lap and Hamlin has closed.

But not close enough. Harvick wins a lobster.

I guess it was a side by side finish.

With Harvick's 1st win this year there are 9 drivers locked into the playoffs and 6 races left.

Not gonna swear to it yet, but we had an iFL winner to be announced on Tuesday. :wink:

Jayski Twitter;

Newman started the day 2 points outside of the playoffs and ends the day in by 21 points. Johnson was in by 10 and now out by 17.

Things change fast!

Newman finished in 9th in a backup for 38 points. Johnson in 30th for 7 points with no power steering.

Watched the end of the race, good entertainment especially the last few laps. Hamlin impressed me in the post race interview. Basically said he could have bumped Harvick harder to take the lead but said it wasn't fair. You don't hear that everyday.

Playing fair is probably why Hamlin doesn't have a championship. Harvick would have pushed him out of the way.

On the iFL scene - Da Rowdy Gambler won at New Hampshire. Congrats, DRG. :first:

Cup and Trucks are running Pocono next while X-Men are at Iowa.

It would have been interesting to see what would have happened if both of them had been winless!
