I setup another LLC and have all my credit frozen. Have credit cards, but always pay them off every month. So I want a business CC and have been unable to get approved because the 3 companies are showing me as frozen.
So I get in contact with Transunion and experian and manage to get my credit unfrozen for 45 days. Was unable to get Equifax cleared so I call them and I'm being asked about a CC we had some 15 years ago. Mind you I don't mind the extra security but I cannot remember the different cards we had so may years ago.
So they tell me send a copy of my social card and drivers lic. I say ok and get off the phone.
Funny part - Decided to re-enter for the card with only Trans and Exp unfrozen, and it work. So I don't think I even need to try and ever clear Equifax. My guess is if the credit folks can even get one, there good, but 2 may be better
