You rest in peace Burt, then yesterday "Major Roger Healy" of I dream of Jeannie fame, Bill Daily passed away at the age of 91.

Rest in peace guys, you made many of us laugh a lot in our younger days.

I used to have a "Smokey and the Bandit II" jacket (the silver one like Reynolds wore) ... Pontiac Motor Division sent it to me. A friend asked it I would wear it and get my 76 50th Anniversary "Pre" Smokey and the Bandit" Trans Am out of the garage to drive around all day in honor of Burt Reynolds. I had given the jacket away years ago and it was raining, so the car couldn't come out to play, but I thought about him and watched Smokey and the Bandit last night.

He did want to go pro, but ligament damage, I believe, to his knee stopped that dream.

Saw that about Bill Daly too. Both of 'em are such familiar faces in things I remember watching. Great entertainment.
