Thursday Nite Football in America.....

The season is here! Saw a little college games to warm us up for the NFL. Many changes during the offseason. Check the offseason thread to catch up and that's not all that went on.

Suspensions:
Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston: Suspended three games for violating league's personal conduct policy.
Steelers WR Eli Rogers: Suspended 1 game for violating league policy on substance abuse.
Broncos WR Carlos Henderson: Suspended one game for violating league policy on substance abuse.
Jets WR ArDarius Stewart: Suspended two games for violating league policy on performance-enhancing substances.
Packers RB Aaron Jones: Suspended two games for violating league's policy on substance abuse.
Colts RB Robert Turbin: Suspended four games for violating league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.
Patriots WR Julian Edelman: Suspended four games for violating league's policy on performance-enhancing substances. He started last year on IR..
Saints RB Mark Ingram: Suspended four games for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances.
49ers WR Victor Bolden: Suspended four games for violating league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.
Chiefs TE Demetrius Harris: Suspended one game for violating league's policy on substance abuse.
Vikings WR Cayleb Jones: Suspended four games for violating league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.
Saints WR Josh Huff: Suspended two games for violating league's policy on substance abuse.

And this is just the offensive players!

Tonites game is in a rain/storm delay and is expected to start at 9:05 eastern. What is this NASCAR????

Falcons vs your 2017 Champions EAGLES!

Foles has not looked very good during preseason. Wentz is still injured. I was too late to change my pick to Atl... sigh

Looking for a great, fun season!

Let's get it on!

PS. Some guy named Bell still hasn't signed his franchise contract for $14mil +

Eagles stop the Falcons at the 1 yard line, including 4th and goal.

No score.

That was their problem last year, they couldn't close the deal with a TD.

Chokers, just like the SB loss. If the Falcons do lose, the sports reporters here will be insufferable.

I see the just called the RODGERS rule. How on earth is a guy supposed to get off the QB when they're both going to the ground?

6-3 at the half, Philadelphia leading. 16 penalties! 9 by ATL and 7 by PHI. First game jitters?

Eagles turn the ball over and Falcons drive 2 plays for the score and miss the XP 12-10 Falcons. Little over 8 minutes to go.

Final - Atlanta choked. In the closing minutes on the Eagle 10 yard line, they couldn't put it over into the end zone.

Philly got a 2 point conversion on their 2nd TD of the night in the 4th and won 18-12.

Naw, Philly was just letting Atlanta feel good about themselves ... didn't want to beat them up too badly ... you know, a kinder and gentler team that cares about it's opponents feelings ...

That's right, we live in the age of "feelings". We must be careful not to ruffle anyone's feathers. Screw that.....šŸ˜„šŸ˜œ
