Went to bed last night when news was calling for a dusting to one inch on untreated surfaces. Woke up to this.

Just checked the forecast in my area and depending on the location they're talking 8-20" this weekend. Ran into people from Arkansas who went to the Gulf to get away from the cold Now that's bad this time of year... Seems to be cold everywhere east of the Rockies...

Weather here in Nashville was described by one of our weather guessers as like a "bi-polar girlfriend," completely unpredictable.

Sunday's high by my house was around 45 ... Already in the 60s and supposed to be in the 80s on Friday. Back to rain on Saturday.

One of the few jobs out there that you can be totally wrong half of the time and still be employed.

All N WI schools closed and Duluth/Superior schools except UMD and St Scholastica. Daughter is not happy. Even one of her classes got cancelled because her teacher couldn't get a flight out of Mpls...

We only got 14" here, but just south of here, and extending about 125 miles to the east, the stuff really piled up.
Wausau 20"
St Point 22"
Tigerton, Scandinavia, Oconto, and Iola, 30"
Shawano 33"

Green Bay 24"
Marshfield 19"
Manitowoc 13"
Appleton 20"

Here is a video of what downtown Shawano looks like a day after getting 33" of snow.
Good shot of the high school and busses - buried.
Check out the 1 minute mark in the video.
Roads are open, traffic flowing, sidewalks need a little work.

http://www.wbay.com/video?vid=479896013

And then there is this:

Green Bay is keeping its regular trash and recycling schedule this week.
Appleton says there will be no change to its pickup schedule in the city this week.

Thats how we handle a little snow. :)
