Cars are becoming less important. Ford will be discontinuing production of all cars except the Mustang by 2022. Other companies will likely follow suit.

I have not owned a car for many many years.1970 f100.1982 chev 1500,1986 f250,1988 f250 4x4,1988 150 4x4 (2),2003 f150 4x4 which is my current ride.Cars or suv,s are just not practical for my lifestyle which involves deep in the bush where cars or suv,s would have a hard time.(not all suv,s but how many can haul a sled or atv in back?).

I drive a 4X4 1/2 ton Chevy. My wife has a little 4 banger Kia I dare not complain about the price of fuel today, about $6.50 a gallon here in Southern Ontario for regular. I can't wait to see what it will be to fill the Boat with hi-octane.

Wow, that's a lot of cars. Let's see, got my license in 1992, since then:

1984 VW Scirocco (hand me down from dad)
1988 VW Scirocco 16v (2.0L Jetta engine swap)
1987 VW Scirocco 16v (another engine swap)
1991 Saab 900 turbo convertible with no reverse (traded it for an armoir...)
2002 Porsche Boxter S (loved loved loved that car)
1997 Ford Ranger (cross country with a souped up slide in trailer; trailer gone, 215k on the truck now)
2001 BMW 330 convertible (current driver, 215k on the clock on that one as well)

If we count the wife's cars since we met 15 years ago, we only add 2:
2004 Honda Civic
2005 Mazda6 Wagon (current, 115k)
