Deckboats with Towers - Share some pictures please!

I'm looking to get a tower for my Larson 234 escape deckboat. Before I do I'd like to see some pictures of deckboats with towers.

My deckboat is fairly long, so I'm especially interested in where people mount towers on large deckboats. I'd also like to see how various towers "flow" with a deckboat.

To start things off, here is a picture of my boat.

Of course, no tower on mine yet. Thanks!

I was hoping for more replies than none! Here is a photo I found on the internet:

I'm not sure what kind of tower it is, but it has similar lines to the diywake pro wake universal tower, if you mounted it backwards. Based on what the new boats are coming out with, it seems like backwards mounting is now in style.

Here is one more:

This looks to be the same as the diy wake tower, but mounted normally.

I am sure you are referencing the Tige RZ series and the Malibu Illusion towers. Trust me when I say it is not style, but rather function they are mounting towers in the forward facing fashion. However they are specifically designed with that in mind. The reason the boat in your first example mounted it that way is look where the top of the tower would be if they mounted it normal. The only way to have the bimini over the driver would be to mount it at the front seats. You also want your tow point somewhat centered over the boat. That is the only mounting position that would work properly for that boat/tower combo. Personally, I like a tower that is designed for the boat as it will fit better like your second example. Copying wakeboard boats that were desigend with forward facing towers just seems lame to me. Good luck!!!

I'll bump this one. I can find pictures on the internet, but most don't say what brand tower they are using.

Last one. The swept back design of this tower reminds me of a radar arch on a cruiser. This is a 234 funship, which has a very similar hull to my Larson 234 escape.

Take a look at samsonsports.com.

They have many different standard towers and will do one off work for you as well. Based on the larson tower slideshow below, they might even have the right dimensions for your boat.

They did mine. Started with a sketch and they took it from there.

By the way. The Larson with the red tower above has a pro flight tower. Had one on a previous boat.

Both Aerial towers and Monster have galleries. The fattest tube monster, IMHO, looks best on a big deck boat (and I bought an Aerial).

Aerial has their new new forwards swept Freeride tower -- that might look good.
