Well, you could always buy a good surfboard and a Sea-Doo . Then a buddy could pull you out past the break so you would not have to swim as much.
I, however, do believe in the philosophy of whom soever dies with the most toys wins. So, it might be entertaining. Don't expect much of a resale market if you buy one and decide it gets old after a while.
