Any ideas on this? I have a full width gravel protection skirt on my truck hitch as well as Cloud Rider mud flaps on all 4 wheel openings. Still get the trailer fenders and frame blasted with gravel. Short of avoiding gravel - any paints better than others? Coverings? Trailer protectors? (not boat protectors)

My wife’s horse trailer have gravel guards on the front of the fenders and front of the trailer.

Does a good job keeping the paint from getting all chipped up. No idea how you would keep the frame rails from getting chipped up if your skirt doesn’t work.

If worst comes to work you could paint the trailer with an industrial 2 part polyurethane. Once dry to can literally take a hammer to the finish. The down side is the cost.

I would be more concerned about the gravel blasting the hull is taking

Could always bed liner coat teh trailer and fenders. As for paints, rocks can beat up most any type paint that I can think of. Don't know how far you travel on gravel roads, but maybe a slower speed to help reduce the damage... JMHO
